Mechanical design for new 80,000 sf parking/office building. The project consisted of 3 floors of office space on top of a split office/garage level and a basement garage level. The project utilized hydronic heat pumps for HVAC with a indoor garage level, fluid cooler/boiler room. Local energy trade-offs were made to allow hydronic heat pump usage without economizer cooling to offset against increases in heating plant and envelope efficiencies.
